Rat's that are breed to be pets are sweet!

Rat's carry lots of bad things with them if it came off the street!

so find some poison and kill that thing!  

set clue traps and that poison stuff and the old fashion snapping ones!

but it shouldn't bit you unless your playing with it!

set a cruelty-free trap and then release him outside. rats are very intelligent, sweet animals. you can get those traps at Bass & Pro shop

There are several ways to go .... Personally I think a dead rat is a good rat.. There is the Poisson route i do suggest you leave water close by in a jar lid the rat will want a drink of water and that is what kills him.  You don't want him going somewhere in your home and die then you will smell him.  then there is always the big break their back trap....I have a hard time picking up the trap.   You could put the Poussin water and trap all together and when he eats drinks and wants to lay down...SNAP well you get the picture

A regular wooden snap trap baited with a bit of cheese or peanut butter is very inexpensive and very effective.  Some folks need to visit a big city ghetto or a third world country for a realistic look at some of these "sweet" animals.

Cheapest way is to get a Victor snap rat trap, they are around $1.35 at Wal-Mart, about $2 elsewhere.  Bait with some sticky peanut butter.
