  1. Its a section of the airport dedicated to where the passengers wait to get on the planes..

    Most airports have several terminals.

  2. its a big building where passenger use to depart and arrive of airplane..

    PEACE =D

  3. An airport terminal is a building at an airport where passengers transfer between ground transportation and the facilities that allow them to board and disembark from airplanes. An airport can have only a few terminals or several, depending on its size and busyness - for example, Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport only has one terminal because it's a smaller airport:

    Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has many more terminals, because it's one of the world's busiest airports: http://www.atlanta-airport.com/Default.a...

    Don't be sorry - it's a legitimate question! :)

    Hope this helped.

  4. Sorry too, it's the same as a bus terminal except where the buses would park, there are planes.

  5. I think I know what you're asking. Why the word terminal and not just airport? It's because planes take a lot of room to park so the airport has to segment into sections (terminals). It's a practical matter.

  6. A airport terminal is a big building, where they park airplanes, and load them with passengers and baggage.

  7. "airport" refers to the runway, the taxiways, the roads for cars, the parking area for cars, the control tower, and the building where you check in and board the plane.

    "terminal building" just refers to the building where you check in and board the plane.
