I cannot say for certain, but I do not think the gun has been fired other than the factory test. It was bought around 1940, put in a soft gun case and left in a clothes trunk until around 2005. The gun dose not seem to have ever been fired and has no rust or discoloration of any kind. The stock is a light stained wood, and has no nicks or any imperfections.

  1. To me it would be priceless due to being in the family that long, monetary wise wouldn't let it go for any amount.

  2. On a good day about $200. There were a ton of them made and a lot of them are still around. Keep it, shoot it and have fun

  3. A Savage, Stevens, Springfield Model 15 as described may get around $200 at an auction, but only if it appears near new condition. Although these are old, there were many made and they are not really a top collector brand. Typical used one in good shape around $100.

As has been mentioned, as a family heiloom, this rifle is priceless. Keep it safe.
