Well, it could be a person who has the drive to help unfortunate people selflessly - but at the same time, feels perfectly justified in exploiting their gratitude by indulging his perversion.

For example, a man, a paedophile, might make it his mission in life to rescue street children and actually gives them a home and supports them through school/college/university. He becomes an altruistic ‘saviour’ to everybody – and certainly has the children’s silence and their control, because for them the choices otherwise are bleak. The man himself may also believe that he’s truly ‘loving’ children…
