  1. h**l, lol.

No, I'm jk. The classes should be similar... when i was a freshman i took algebra, spanish 1, biology, PE, and English and American History. The cliques are can vary so much. Watch a movie like "Mean Girls", haha. You have popular people, jocks, artists, intellectuals, drama people, punks, I mean you have everything... But cliques really aren't always that severe...they weren't at my school honestly. Everyone really did kind of intermix a bit.It depends on your school. And the schedule is usually like you start at about 8 am, you have each class thats about 50 minutes with 5 minute breaks in between, and a 45 minute lunch in there somewhere, depending on your schedule, and you usually are out by 2:45 or 3 pm.

Hope this helps.  Good luck on the writing!! :)

  2. I remember being a freshman in high school. There aren't always cliques in high schools, people can be friends with other people out of his/her clique. Some cliques are made up of a few people and some have numbers of people. A clique could just be a group of people who have lunch together or people who are all really close friends. Being a freshman can be kind of scary at first because you hear stories about seniors putting other students in trashcans or flushing heads in toilets. Some seniors are rude, but there are also friendly ones. It helps out to have friends in higher grades sometimes. I guess most schools are 5 days a week, 180 days per schoolyear, and 4 quarters each schoolyear. Classes start around 8 a.m. and end at around 3 p.m. At least that's how it was where I live. Possible 9th grade math classes are Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Most 9th graders take Geometry. For English, there is a CP (College Prep) and an Honors class. For Science, there is Life Science and Biology CP/H. I guess for history, there is World History CP/H. Students can also choose to take MUN (Model United Nations), it's kind of like a debate class. There is Physical Education, which is required. For electives: there are Band, Art 2D/3D, Drama, and Foreign Language (Most schools have Spanish and French, others also have Chinese, Tagolog, Korean, Japanese). A typical schedule consists of 6 classes: math, english, science, history, p.e., and an elective. You can find out about what schools in America are like in books and American tv shows too. shows that are on disney channel: hannah montana, suite life of zack and cody, wizards of waverly place, and on nickoloden: icarly, ned's declassified school survival guide are about kids in 9th grade (at least it seems like it.)
