  1. ok there are many types of anoles in the world but the main ones in the US are cuban and green anoles.  the cuban ones are brown and the green ones are green of course.  the green ones are also called the american chameleon.  since they can turn green to brown.  they are not hard to catch at all i dont know why big dog thinks they are impossible to catch but as long as you dont move too fast they usually wont run away to often.  i actually caught a few today and some just jumped in my hand and let me hold them.  and yes they are the green lizards you see running around outside

  2. They are very affordable at the pet shop, and shouldn't be removed from their native habitat (not to mention that that is illegal).

It's a small lizard which turn from green to turn brown, or visa versa.

I suggest you peek out their requirements before you get one:

When the project ends, are you prepared to provide for the animal for its lifespan, or making arrangements to adopt it out?

You might want to give the end of the project some thought, too.

  3. no it's not they are small and can be brown. they eat insects and are basically impossible to catch.

  4. well some are there are like a few hundred kinds of them some are as small as your finger and some are as big as your arm but the ones outside are green anoles usually
