    the pay rises the high rank you get.

  3. Once you've completed your recruit course & specialist training the base salaries are as follows:

    Technical jobs - $40,666.00pa

    Non Technical - $38,662.00pa

    Officer - $48,659.00+pa.

    Plus there's the extra benefits ON TOP of your base wage - you'd get an aditional $10,672.00pa service allowance & $419.00pa uniform allowance.  Of course, there is a seagoing allowance, aditional pay for spending time at sea and the longer you stay in, the more qualifications (and pay) you would gain.
