What is an average score for the ACT's?

What's a good one and whats a bad one. I got a 27 how do I rank?

17 is the average.  I got a 29, and it got me a scholarship to the best university in my state.

That is pretty good, but if you get 30+ that would be good enough for any school, except the top ivy league schools

Average is a 21 and the state colleges in Florida (at least) require a 24. You are above both which is commendable. I got a 32 my first time.
