  1. Either something that has a good bass beat and/or has a motivational message.  This typically consists of hip hop, rock, and techo for me.

    Stronger ~ Kanye West

    Fuel ~ Metallica

    Won't Back Down ~ Fuel

    Lose Yourself ~ Eminem

    Blue Monday ~ Orgy

Beautiul Life ~ Ace of Base

    Metropolis ~ Monty Are I

In the Shadows ~ The Rasmus

I could keep going since I have so many songs that help me out, but these are the main ones I can think of right now.

  2. dunno about saul williams but there's this IN THE SHADOWS. pumps u up...

  3. For me it's something with a compelling beat and/or something with an edge, an attitude. My faves are:

    Kickstart My Heart/Motley Crue

    N.W.O/Ministry

    Metal Machine Music/Die Krupps

    Helium/Bypass Unit

    Kaleid (Remix)/Depeche Mode

    Tragedy (For You)/Front 242

    Swamp Thing/Juno Reactor

The Hand That Feeds/Nine Inch Nails

    Mona Lisa Overdrive/Juno Reactor

    Breathe/The Prodigy

    Exorcism (The Bretonic Revenge)/Killing Joke

Dream On (BushwackaTough Guy Vocal Mix) Depeche Mode

    Shut Up and Dance/Aerosmith

    Headhunter/Front 242

    Join in the Chant/Nitzer Ebb

    Getting Closer/Nitzer Ebb

    Let Your Body Learn/Nitzer Ebb

  4. I don't listen to music when I run cause I like to be aware of my breathing and cadence and so on. But I do listen to a song before I go out. Usually 'the beat that my heart skipped' by Dan le Sac and Scroobius Pip. Or 'Atlas' by Battles.

  5. 'Move on up' by Curtis Mayfield is a great inspiring song to keep you moving.

  6. Too Fat Polka

  7. i really just listen to a bunch of different songs and that keeps me going....

  8. These are all on my ipod for running. I have a lot more if you like these. If you like Saul williams, you'll probably like the Weezer song and the ting tings.

-Dragonforce - "through the fire and flames"

    - The used - "The bird and the worm"

    - Sixx AM - "Life is beautiful"

    - Miser - "zombie"

    -Muse - "knights of cydonia"

-Weezer - "say it aint so"

    -10 years - "waistland"

    - seven mary three - "water's edge"

    -avenged sevenfold - "afterlife"

-the ting tings - "shutup and let me go"

    -saving abel - "addicted"

Also...The Prodigy, The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers, and Oakenfold are great Electronic bands. I like electronic music for running. Something about it makes me feel like I'm in a race.

  9. Chariots of fire

  10. stronger by kanye west

  11. Linkin Park: "Bleed It Out"

The Mooney Suzuki: "Alive & Amplified"

    Bodyrox: "Yeah Yeah"

Daft Punk: "Around the World / Harder Better Faster Stronger [Live]"
