I can solve the Rubik's Cube on average in 1 Min. and 19 Seconds (Not that impressive)(But for recreational uses it is). I am trying to make it so it will be less stiff. So i was wondering what i should use to make it turn more freely. Ill be open to anything. Just nothing that will waste my time.

  1. K. take athe cube apart and put petroleum jelly in it. This will make the cube easier to turn and you will be able to solve it quicker.

  2. Do not use WD40.  It melts some cubes, rendering them useless.

Silicone spray is the typical lube of choice.

    Good Luck!

  3. i usually peel off all the stickers and restick them where they belong, that might be faster...

  4. A quick short (very short) burst of WD40 works, or one or two very small drops of mineral or baby oil.

  5. take it apart and spray the pieces with wd40 and put it back together, makes it slide so smoothly. works like a charm.
