  1. An environmentalist is not a job, but character trait. Calling yourself an environmentalist just means you believe that taking care of our natural resources is a good thing to do.

I think what you want to be is an environmental scientist, they get to do all the things you mentioned.

  2. An environmentalist is a person who care about environmental issues - it's not a job or a career.  What you describe could be any of the following, depending on what it is you want to do:

    - Environmental scientist

(does research in the environmental sciences)

    - Conservation biologist

(works with conservation of wildlife and wildlife habitats)

    - Ecologist

(studies the interactions between animals and their environment)

    - Research assistant

    (helps scientists with their research)

    - Forest ranger

(Looks after the forests, including cutting and planting trees)

    - Nature reserve warden

    (Looks after nature reserves)

    - Conservation volunteer

(Helps with various conservation activities. Not a career as such as it's unpaid, but it can lead to a paid job)

...and probably a lot of other types of jobs too!

Have a look at some careers websites for more ideas, e.g.

    http://www.ecojobs.com

    http://www.environmental-jobs.com

    Hope that helps!

  3. Yes, not to be confused with the Greenpeace Eco-Terrorists.

  4. environmentalist is a person who has studied environmental engineering in depth and knows all the aspects related to it and also how to solve them.....

  5. Environmentalist tell people what to do with their own land..Experiment on your own land
