  1. I used to get 30p per mile 10 yrs ago when petrol was much cheaper than it is now, about 1 pound 50p per gallon. Now its about 6 quid, it should be about  1.20p per mile.


  2. It's got nothing to do with parking privileges or dispnesations.

    It's a payment made through your salary which takes into account the use of your own car to do the job.

    It's supposed to pay for wear and tear on your vehicle and is cheaper for your employer than providing a company car.

    In reality, the only winner is your employer.

  3. i have one of these, it allows you to park in restriced zones, l;ike residential areas and some car parks, without getting clamped. i think you can also park on the side of the road and not have to get a ticket from the machine. comes in very handy ;-)
