  1. If you had more time, what would you do with it?  You can turn this into a humorous speech, basically, stand-up - I met with my subject, John O'Toole, a 9 am on Monday.  As usual, he was moving very quickly, so I tucked my feet into the carpet to keep up with him.

"Mr. O'Toole," I asked, "If you-"  "Excuse me, I really must pick up the books in the kitchen!" he replied as he nearly ran away.

Just "play it straight," don't end up laughing at yourself, or that will ruin it.

  2. A rhetorical question is one that the asker doesn't expect an answer to.

  3. Sarcasm is fertile ground for rhetorical questions:

"Hmm, I wonder when will you win the Nobel Doormat Prize"

"Gee, how DO you manage to please everyone all of the time..."
