Erosion is everywhere.  This is the process where things slowly break down due to wind, precipitation, flowing water.  Basically it is caused by friction from molecules the interact with groups of other molecules that are bonded together.

Examples would be the shape of the coastlines, the hills that are now smooth and no longer sharp, the creeks and stream channels that were made by flowing water, the wind blown dirt in a field, and the smoothing of rocks in the river bed.  These just some examples of natural erosion that exist almost everywhere.

I know I am too late for your deadline, but you deserve an answer.  I wished I had seen this question earlier.
