Is intuition feeling an emotion for something, but you don't know why you feel that way about it? Is that the higher form of simple emotion brought on by a stimulus, where nothing needs to directly trigger it?

Just thinking out loud here. Hopefully someone can answer this. Thanks

  1. Intuition is your gut sense about people, situations,or decisions. It is your inner compass, which we are all born with. Some of us keep it running well, by continuing to listen to it, and others let it get into disrepair. Animals use their sixth sense like a first sense--they trust their feeling about people or places, and rely wholeheartedly on this sense. Something generally triggers intuition, like an interaction with an individual, or a feeling brought on by the environment in which you get a "feeling" about.  When you get a sense that you should or should not partake in an event or an interaction, it may seem like there is no stimulus, and there may be none, but the feeling, when we listen to it, may prove to be the "warning" sign.

An example of intuition, is Having a notion about an individual--perhaps of their intentions-- and you may or may not listen to that gut feeling. If you do, you may avoid a potentially harmful interaction with that person. If you don't, you may learn the hard way.

You may often, in hindsight, recognize that you had a gut feeling, but didn't respond to it.

  2. It seems being brought by some inexplicable mysterious energy wave. Sometimes it is just accurate. It is like a transcending message from the subconciousness.

An experience of this was brought by when my aunt had dropped a glass that broke during a visit to a relative, Then it was known that she felt something so eerie that time. At the same time during that very moment that my 6 year old boy cousin Jason, was hit by an eight wheeler truck and died on the spot. That story quickly spread in the family as when the incident occured at that very same time.

There were also some better ones. Like when we feel some good answers or events coming up of some issues that we were not really sure of the real outcome. But it just happen even if unexpectedly. Intuitions suddenly occur into our senses and it maybe accompanied with some kind happenings. Oftenly coincides with the mind behind us.

  3. Good Question: Intuitive actions/ behavior/ what have you kind of means you do it " automatically"  natually, without really thinking, like a reflex action:

Example: Driving a car, as your driving through a highway, your really Not looking at the road, planning every turn, your probably thinking more about whats playing on the radio, as you chat with your car buddy, your driving Intuitively :)

Hope this helps, I had this same question and as I was driving one day,  I realized, hey this is and intuitive activity :)

  4. Its a soul answer ,pulling and tugging from the heart directing one on a soul level to act and behave in a certain manner.

A knowing on a cellular level.
