  1. You can help her.  Cut her a donut made of wood.  Paint the donut green.  This is the first part of a reef.  Your daughter can decorate this by gluing Xmas items on it.  Things like pine cones, red bows, nuts and small old artiments look really cute.  Let her glue them on herself.  We made them for the our relatives and they cherish them because the are so obviously made by a 4 year old.   Paul

  2. You can go to a craft store and let her pick out a wooden ornament, and get a few colors of paint. Let her paint it how ever she wants. Then after it dries, write on the back to her teacher, from her and the year.

  3. Ask your child what she likes the best about each individual teacher and write that on a piece of paper and then have her illustrate them doing something together. And include a note about how much you appreciate the influence each of them have in your child's life.

  4. You can take an old glass spaghetti jar and glue crepe paper all over it in different colors.  Then fill with candy!!  The teacher can use it for pencils or whatever when the candy is gone!

  5. Get tongue depressors or ice cream sticks...with them she can make frames for her teachers. Either decorate them for the holidays or with things about her teachers...it is personalized and cheap! Or...make book markers out of different fabrics or paper decorate them and personalize them with their names, teachers love them to mark their spots in their books!

  6. a picture frame. you know, those litttle popscicle stick ones you used to make in kindergarten? glue it all together for her nd tell her to decorate it using markers, glitter, etc. put a picture of her teacher and her inside and it will always be special.

  7. How about some Christmas tree ornaments??  Make them with tongue depressors and some glitter and glue a piece of string to the back to hang it.  Or go to a craft store and buy pre made unpainted clay ornaments she can decorate.

  8. Pencil holder

    Materials:

    jar (recyclable $0 )

wrapping paper (scraps $0 ) or any paper (max $1.00)

    glue ($0.50 )

Using glue, cover a clean recyclable jar, then cover it with paper of choice, then cover with glue again. Make sure all surfaces are completely covered. This will prevent peeling.

This would be a nice gift because jars can be used for so many things. If you are afraid of using glass, you can use a frozen juice can or any cardboard can. Depending on how tall it is, you may need to cut it down. Happy Crafting. :)
