What is an injunction order?

Hai friends I am from india.I am intending to build a compound wall around my house and the local politician is objecting it and preventing me from doing it.My advocate has advised me that he will get an injunction order from the court regarding this and he says I shall start constructing the wall as soon as I get the injunction order.Is this possible.what is an injunction order

how many days will it take to get the injunction order from the indian court

Depends on your advocate. May be in a day or two. At the most with in 30 days.

It is an order to stop some thing, to protect appeallent right.

It will issue on next(working) day of application.
