an internship is when you work with someone learning the business and you dont get payed. you benefit from the situation and learn tons.... but again you dont get payed to do it.

intership is basically a try-out for a company most people who typically do interships end up getting a job with the company or job offer later on if they do well... they are really helpful.. you just work in your current area of study and get a feel for what your studying basically.
