What is an oak???

where do they mostly grow??

coz people always tell me to make a bow out of OAK but what does an oak really look like i dont know and thats my question

oaks are those trees that drop acorns.  they grow almost everywhere.

lots of cabinets and inexpensive office furniture is made out of oak

google images is handy for this kind of thing.

i would use a straight grain wood like ash...old longbows were made from yew wood...
