I can't afford a new computer, so I am going on eBay to find a computer. I still have the SATA HDD from my old system, so i wanted to reuse it. My old computer was a Gateway 3200

  1. You can also find a SATA PCI card to slot in any computer you buy and presto it is SATA capable. They are not expensive

  2. I think you would be hard pressed to find a computer these days that DOESN'T have at least 2 sata ports. As long as the computer is within 3 years old, odds are the machine has sata ports. Just find a machine you like, and then search it with yahoo. It might take awile, but you'll eventually find out everything you would need to know about it.
