I have read that lately there were robberies in some banks by people suspected in hypnotising the cashiers. And is it possible that an implanted electronic device in robbers helped them .I am also interested how such devices could be detected by usual technik?

Sounds like high-tech fiction. Are you researching people's reactions so you can use this idea in a book? Where did you hear about an electronic device that hypnotizes people? If it's true, I would like to learn more. Sounds dangerous!

I am unaware of any evidence that such chips exist.  I am aware of plenty of paranoid rants about such chips and government/alien implants.

There was a story not too long ago about a bank robber hypnotizing a teller during a robbery.  Turns out it was all bunk.  (Big surprise.)  It was an inside job.  The teller thought she could claim she was giving it away under hypnosis.  What she didn't know is that you can't be made to do something against your will while being hypnotized.

After a little research into this story, I noticed many such reports about hypnosis being used by bank robbers.  Turns out this is happening all over the world.  Or is it?  Every story I've seen has the same exact details but takes place in different countries.  This story stinks of an urban legend.  I've submitted an investigation request to snopes.com to see if they can get to the bottom of it.
