Do you use an osteopath? How do they differ from regular physicians? Do you like your osteopath better? Why? There are osteopath physicians at my doctor's office, but I've never seen them and am just curious.

  1. Bone doctor, as specialists, they probably charge more than regular doctors.

  2. Just for the record, osteopathic physicians use the same textbooks, take the same board exams, etc. as regular MDs.  In addition to that they concentrate on bone and joint manipulation, nutrition, and a more holistic approach to medicine.

MDs and osteopaths are equally qualified.  It just depends on the type of approach you personally would prefer in dealing with your medical professional.

  3. that's the way to go.. a DO  will treat your whole body to find the cause of your problem and not just treat the system with a drug
