I am looking for a video camera that is easy to use. Cheap, $100 to $150. But most of all I want to be able to plug it in to my computer and upload the videos easily. I do not have imovie or mac computer. I want to just plug it in and not have to download any extra software that dosn't come with the video camera. What do you think of the Aiptek HD digital camcorder video camera. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7933663 With this will I be able to upload videos easliy to my computer. Thanks

  1. A flash camcorder is the best for easy transfer to a computer, because they use SD cards.

The Aiptek HD camcorders are good - the A-HD is actually better than the GO-HD.

The audio is average, though the microphone can easily be changed with a very small amount of soldering if you are comfortable doing that.

In your price range, this camera is probably best, as it records superb video in 16:9. Another cool feature of this camera few people know about is it's abiliy to record TV and DVDs. It comes with a small cord - simply attach to the camera and your tv and hit record. I've copied several movies off my DVR box to my computer with this camera.

    Overall, a very good purchase.

  2. Yeah, from what i have heard, because I asked this question earlier its an excellent camera.  The sound is only mono though.

I suggest you order it off the aiptek website, they send you a bunch of free stuff with it (tripod, car charger ect)

It has excellent video quality from what i saw on some website.  aiptek.com
