What is an "old-fashioned girl"?

I'm trying to understand the usage and meaning of the phrase "old-fashioned girl".

 

Please explain exactly what this phrase means to you. Do you believe that women share a common understanding of the usage and meaning of this phrase? Do you think that a men generally understand what a woman means when she uses this phrase to describe herself?

Old fashion...I guess I would think waiting for marriage. Kinda sweet, maybe quiet, maybe dresses modestly. Religious...something along those lines. Not all the time are those together in meaning old fashioned...but things like that come to my mind when someone says old fashioned.

Guys usually refer to someone being "old fashioned" when they act like their Mother. Good morals, hardworking, always there for you. Not a floozy, hussy, made up barbie doll who is dumb as a box of rocks..someone who is

loyal, supportive, more concerned about the other person, than themselves...Quiet, unassuming, not possessive, heart of gold..She cooks, cleans, mends, shops,and still has time to dote on you and make you feel like the most important person in her world.... a super Mom, wife, girlfriend or friend....you are not clueless in Texas, just very considerate....a down to earth, caring , modest person and old fashioned kind of a guy..that you even asked this question....just my perception of the word........thank you.

To me, and I'm older, it means an up-tight, self-conscious prude.
