What is an "old soul"

Question

I just turned 16 and I have always been interested in old things. Like I lisen to oldies and love to watch old movies and love to go to antique shops. Does that mean am an "old soul", a person that has been here before? I also have a morbid personality but this probably has nothing to do with it.

No, sorry your not an old soul is someone who been around for a long time so their like in their 80's and they tell stories and tales about their times and maybe stories about legends

An old soul refers to the quality someone has in which it seems like they're wise beyond their years, mature, intelligent, at peace, etc.

You could just be stuck in the past.

I always think of "old souls" as people who are wise beyond their years. People who seem to have experience with something even if they aren't old enough to have had actual experience with it.

I couldn't say if the things you like mean you are reincarnated. I would venture to say you just like a better quality music/movie/manufactured items than are being produced today.

but an old soul can also be what you described...

so it does sound like your an old soul. since you love old things, you could have been born in a past life when you were in the ere of the things you like, like the oldies music and movies.

Just because you like old things doesn't mean that you have an old soul, although you very well could be one.
