  1. No player uses - 69, or 98,

99 is retired, 1 is uncommon (other then goaltenders) and 64 is too.

    86 is uncommon. :)

  2. Pi - it's hard to know at what point to cut off the string.

It took until just a year or so ago for all the numbers to be used in a game by at least one player.  I think 37 was the last one used.

99 is also rare only two players ever wore it.

  3. X^2 - x - 2/ x^2 + 5x + 6 < 0

  4.   0 and 00

  5. 96.

  6. It is becoming harder and harder to find an uncommon number.  It used to be goalies were 1 and 30, defencemen 2 through 6 and high 20's and forwards had the rest.  Now it seems like numbers under 30 are the odd ones.

If you want something uncommon your best bet would be to pick a number higher than 40 but is not a multiple of 11.  So not 44, 55, 66, 77, 88 or 99.  Numbers like 54, 62, 78 or 83 would be examples.  Keep in mind there is a trend towards taking year of birth (see Crosby, Sidney) so even those over 80 are starting to get used a fair bit.

Alternatively, you could take a low number that is unusual for your position.  If you are a forward, try a low number like 2 or 3.  While there is no rule saying that forwards cannot wear those numbers, they are still rare.  A defenceman wearing 14 would also be unusual.  I have seen non-goalies wearing number 1, but that just seems out of place.

  7. -3

    2.76

    127

    or 83

  8. C^2. I see a lot of possibilities for E and M though.

  9. 00 double zero!!!

    lol

    3.141592693...

    thats the pi number.

    478

    three digit.

    -49

    its a negative.

  10. I HAVE TO AGREE 69 HONEY

    IS NIPSY g*y?

  11. 69 but very common here!!!

  12. 84 is not all that common. Neither is 65.

  13. I like 55 but have never got the chance to wear it. Maybe if I make my AAA team this year I will.

  14. 97

  15. 98

  16. 94

  17. 00 is a good one. The only guy I remember wearing it was Kevin Weekes (goalie). 13 is another good one....superstious players wont wear that number and off the top of my head only a pair of Russians currently wear it (Datsyuk & Slava Kozlov, and if I remember correctly Cammillari). If you like goalie numbers I dont believe there is currently any NHL goalie wearing #32....they all wear 30, 31, 33, 35. Or go with a 50's number, these are usually assigned to camp players who have no shot at making the team.
