have you ever heard of an over bite? Its where you top teeth stick out further than your bottom teeth...well under bite is the opposite..your bottom teeth stick out further than your top.

When your bottom jaw sticks out further than the top jaw.

It is not a serious problem, and can be corrected with elastic bands..

An underbite is a type of way that a person's jaw and teeth can close together.  When a person is fully closed down and has an underbite, the top center teeth are behind their bottom center teeth.  Ideally the top teeth are in front of the bottom teeth.
