Ancient Africa is according to scientologists, the birthplace of mankind and our ancestors, The apes. it is also the home of one of the world's greatest civilizations in history:Egypt.

It also contains part of the Muslim empire, and was and still is home to many African tribes.

Ancient Africa is said to be the origin of the modern Human.  Lets see...

There are hunter gather sites scattered throughout Africa by 8,000 b.c.  There is evidence of fishing villages along the coast by about 7,500 b.c. and some time around 5,000 b.c., grain farming was used in Egypt around the Nile River (one of the three great river civilizations of antiquity along with the Tigris and Euphrates with Babylon, the Yellow River with Xia and Shang China, and the Indus river with India).  

Around 3100 B.C., King Narmer united North and South Egypt after defeating the king of South Egypt (actually North in direciton).  I am an Egypt Freak, so if you want I can give you more info by e-mail.
