  1. GPA is an average of your Grades at school (it stands for Grade Point Average). If you get an A in High School, it is worth 4 grade points, while a B is worth 3, C is worth 2, and an F is worth..1 i think (i'm not positive). If you take Honors Classes than all those points go up 1 in value. It takes the total of your grade points and divide them by the number of classes you take.

  2. GPA is the grade point average meaning your grade at university. it could be out of ten or 4. some universities use GPA out of 10 others may use a GPA out of different number. 9 out of 10 is A+, 8 out of 10 is A and so on. inorder to calculate GPA u would look at the alphabet grade of all your courses, choose the number that the letter represents and use all those numbers to find the overall average. this is GPA.

  3. GPA stands for "grade point average" it is the average of all your classes combined.

    Here is how grades were rated where i went to school,

                            A+       =          4.3

                            A         =          4.0

                            A-        =          3.7

                            B+       =          3.3

                            B          =          3.0

                            B-        =          2.7

                            C+       =          2.3

                            C         =          2.0

                            C-        =          1.7

                            D+       =          1.3

                            D         =          1.0

                            D-        =          0.7

                            F          =          0

    to find your total grade point average, you add your grades together for all classes then divide by the number of classes you have
