  1. a floaty answer for a floaty question - Learning its all for learning and enjoyment. Maybe there is no difference we encompass the past the present and the future.

I wouldn't change anything in any direction and find hat happiness and learning comes form staying in the present in each moment learning from previous moments and aiming at being comfortable in my skin and enjoying life as it comes- letting go of tension.

  2. Past :

The past is the portion of the timeline that has already occurred; it is the opposite of the future. It is also contrasted with the present. It is also regarded as the conglomerate of events that happened in a certain point in time, within the Space-time continuum. The aforementioned conception is closely related to Albert Einstein's relativity theory.

    Present :

The present is the time that is perceived directly, not as a recollection or a speculation. It is often considered as a hyperplane in space-time, often called now, but it may also be viewed as a duration (see specious present).

When comparing time in places separated by great distances, the notion of present becomes unclear. For example, we visually perceive stars to be where they were when the light now reaching our eyes was emitted, because even though light travels at approximately 3 x 108 m/s it takes many years to reach us from distant sources.

    Future :

In a linear conception of time, the future is the portion of the projected time line that is anticipated to occur. In the conception of space-time, the anticipated four dimensional co-ordinates where events occur. In the conception of presentism the future is only made of probabilities that have yet to actualize and this is opposed to the past (the set of moments and events that have already actualized and have been experienced or recorded.) and the present (the set of events that are occurring now).
