What is another name for a plant?

I'm not sure what they are looking for.  If you are referring to the ecosystem in a given area, the flora is the plant life and the fauna, the animal life.  I can't think of a true synonym for plant.

If you are referring to a specific species of plant, I might be able to give you another name that is used for it.  For instance, Achillea is also known as yarrow.
