What is anthropology and phsychology?

There is this grade 11 course about anthropology and phsychology. I am not sure what it is and what is about. Is it interesting? I am looking to becoming a nurse..would that help me?

  1. Anthropology is the study of Man, sort of. It has four major branches-Cultural (the study of cultures around the world), Physical (think evolution and the like) Linguistics (the study of languages), and Archeology (they study of past, both of man and animal, think fossils and the like).

    Psychology it the inner workings of man/woman kind.

    I would think that psychology would work well with Nursing.  I work as a drug counselor and we have nurses work on my unit.


  2. Anthropology is the study of societies, including the ancient ones.

    Psychology is the study of the human mind and his usually looked at more individually.
