  1. Panama has great weather. There are no hurricanes. There are no earthquakes. They do get tremors but no quakes. No blizzards or ice storms. Along the coast the temperatures go up to the 90s in the day and down to the 70s at night. In the Highlands the temps go up to the 80s in the day and the 60s at night.

    There are two seasons, the wet and the dry. The wet is from April to December. During the wet season it rains a little bit each day and the temperatures are a bit lower.

    The people of Panama are very friendly. They love to have a good time. They have a wonderful sense of humor. They are courteous and polite and eager to help anyone who needs help.

    They raise a large variety of fruits and vegetables. They have two oceans (The Atlantic and the Pacific) from which to fish in and the name Panama means, "An Abundance of fish".

    Panama grows the best coffee in the world. At many International auctions, Panamanian coffee garners the highest bids and wins gold medals.

    Panama uses the American dollar for its currency. So there is no conversion to do.

    The cost of living in Panama is less than in the USA. Food from Panama is less than the equivalent in the USA. Beer, wine and alcohol is less in Panama.

    The cost of medical care is far less than in the USA and most of the medical professionals have been trained either in the USA (and speak English) or Europe.

    Panama has an excellent infrastructure. It has the best roads in Central America.

    Panama has excellent power. There are no power outages like in other parts of Central America.

    It has excellent drinking water, probably the best in Central America. This is proven as several international breweries brew beer in Panama.

    Panama is the second largest banking center in the world. International banks from all over have branches in Panama.

    Panama has the second largest Free Trade Zone in the world, after Hong Kong.

    Panama has the greatest bio-diversity in the world. There are more different varieties of plants and trees here than anywhere else on earth.

    Panama has more birds than any other place on earth. It holds the record for the highest number of species (over 500) spotted in one day.

    Panama has seven different tribes of Indians. Each of these indigenous peoples have their own culture, they have their own land and government.

    Panama City is the Las Vegas of Central America. It has the largest number of casinos and the largest casino in Central and South America.

    Panama has "The Path Between The Seas". The Panama Canal was opened in 1914 and is a man-made canal which joins the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. It has an enormous impact on shipping between the two oceans. A ship sailing from New York to San Francisco via the canal travels 6,000 miles, under half the 14,000 miles it would have to sail Cape Horn.
