I am MBA student and want to know about application of finance in Insurance in India

Can you re-phrase that into American English?

If you mean, 'why do we have an application involving finances when we apply for insurance', then here is one reason:   No company wants to over insure any person.  No murderer should make a profit on the death of his victim.  Each company may wish to protect its profits.  If a company over insures someone, then a criminal could seek to make a fast buck.  (Or, in your case, a fast rupee.)

If you mean, 'why does an insurance company want to employ a person with an MBA in Finance', then I could only guess.  Probably because the company would like to make a profit.  

My company is expanding into India as we speak.  I wish I could direct you to someone over there, but it takes too long to make the contact.  Yahoo Answers requires quick answers.
