  1. A magnetic field is generated by (and impacts) moving charges.

An electric field is generated by (and impacts) all charges.

So depending on your point of view, one observer's E-field is another observer's B-field.  Both fields have to exist to maintain consistency under relativity.  I think electric fields are probably more useful (that's what drives current around usually), but it's really subjective and kind of pointless to answer.

  2. both are perpendicular to each other.

though they are explained by similar laws and principle yet magnetic field and hence magnetism is due to the effect of revolving electrons and electric field is due to the charges. both are equally useful and however magnetic field is having more applications in practice than that of the electric field domestically.

Zeeman effect deals with magnetic field

Stark effect deals with electric field.

  3. CERTAIN DIFFERENCE ARE GIVEN BELOW

    ELECTEIC FIELD

    1) electric field is due to stationary or moviable charge

    2) electriclines of force may not form a closed loop

    3) electro static force is parallel to electric field

    4) mono pole may exist in electric field

    MAGNETIC FIELD

    1) magnetic field is due to moving charge particle

    2) magnetic lines of force may be form a closed loop

    3) magnetic force is always perpenticular to the magnetic field

    4) only dipole may exist in magnetic field
