"realistic fiction"

because it's still an escape to someone else's life, but you can relate to it. i think the best books expose truths of the human condition, and it's difficult to do that if your busy writing about romances with vampires...

I love horror and crime/thrillers. They're just really exciting and fun to read. I especially love crime stories because its just amazing how the author cooks up a complex plot with many twists and turns. I find the whole crime-solving thing to be very interesting. And I love horror novels because, obviously, they're scary.

Realistic Fiction - Because it relates to what is going on in life and also because I can understand and relate to it

Mystery - It intrigues me to find out more

Fantasy - It's interesting and it feels like anything can happen. Also, it's like an escape from reality

Anime/Manga - It's funny, cool, cute, and keeps me hooked on. It pretty much have everything you would want [action, comedy, romance, comedy] - depending on the manga you're reading.

Sad [Yeah I put this in it's own category] - It's amazing how the writer can hook you on and really make you feel what the character is feeling

Romance - It's sweet

Pretty much I read anything that's good but it have got to have a twist to it. Like for example, I probably wouldn't be able to finish the book if it's just romance. It have got to have a twist like sadness or mystery or comedy or some sort of mix to it. Pretty much same to every other genre. If there isn't a twist to it, it wouldn't be as interesting and as good.

Action/Thriller, the sorts of Matthew Reilly, James Rollins, those with a lot of bullet-spraying and explosions, hahaha. It's the best form of escapism for me.

romance novels. i can read the book and i don't have to deal with anyone else in my life. i like being the only one in my family. i have been married 3 times.

I like any interesting, well-written books. I'm not super into scifi or fantasy though ;).

fanatsy books, theres no point (to me) reading a fiction book on something that could easily happen (like romance) and they're so boring!

vampire related books --- i psychoticscination with the damned ones

true crimes --- i find some psychotic killers fascinating cause they have to be either super psycho or a very clever mind to commit those crimes they did

thrillers/mystery --- don't know why but i just enjoy them
