yup...carl is right....you have the country code 966 and then you need the city code...02 for jeddah, 01 for riyadh, 03 for khobar, 07 for southern cities and so on....

Carl tried his best, however there was a major mistake in his answer... when calling a number in saudi from another country, let`s say it`s in the capital city riyadh knowing its code is (01), then you dial: (00-966-1-x*x xx xx) u just don`t dial the zero in the local area code unless you`re calling from inside saudi. If u`r dialing from another city in saudi u dial: (01-x*x xx xx). Same for Saudi mobile which consists from 10 digits starting with (05), so from inside saudi u dial (05-xx-x*x-x*x), while from another country u dial without the zero (00-966-5-xx-x*x-x*x).

.....country code is 966 and the area codes varies like in eastern areas of Saudi Arabia, the area code is 03; Central area (Riyadh) is 01 and western areas like Jeddah and Rabigh is 02 and Yanbu is 04.....so if you want to call someone in eastern area dial 00-966-03-landline no.you want to call.....
