  1. I hope you have permission from your folks because most hotels won't rent you a room unless one of you is 18 years old. I worked at the Chelsea way back in the 90's and they were sticklers for this. This also included everybody in the room being registered & having a credit card imprint on file.

Any clubs in the area, of which there are none, won't let you in unless you're 19 and have valid ID to prove it. It doesn't matter if you aren't going to be drinking, they still won't let you in the door. Your only hope in that case would be to hit one of the clubs after the bar closes which is at 1am although I don't know if they still do this anymore but I remember doing that when I was 16.

As to what's fun in that area? You got me. I've always found it to be rather dry and unappealing. Check with the bell staff once you get there and they might be able to point you in the right direction.

  2. I worked in the area when I was a chef, the Eaton Center is south of the hotel around the corner, and the Hard Rock Cafe is acrossed the street from the EC.

Lots of restaurants, sites to see, souvenier shops and a walk on Yonge St is a nice treat.

  3. 1214 queen street west. lots of shopping, tourist sites and some clubs have all ages nights.
