I'm looking to go on a 5-day cruise via Carnival Cruise Lines to Caribbeans. What is average cost during the end of June/beginning of July?

  1. It really depends on the time of year and what cabin you are getting.  Cruises are cheaper in the Carribbean during late summer, early fall because it is hurricane season.  You will pay more in June/July.

  3. Ballpark figure for cruising is $100/day/person.  June and July are one of the more-expensive times to cruise, despite it being hurricane season, because that's when families with schoolkids can travel.  The cost will vary with the type of cabin you choose and its location.

Try VacationsToGo.com for a site that's very easy to navigate, to get some ideas about the cost and availability.

  4. Depending on the exact sailing (which date and embarkation port), you are looking at about $700 per person plus taxes and fuel supplement. A few may be cheaper, but 4th of July sailings will be much more expensive. If you have a 3rd or 4th person in the cabin, the rates for those people will be less.

Note the the cost of shore excursions, gratuities, spa services, soft drinks and alcohol are all extra as well. Also, these prices are for the least expensive inside cabins. If you want an ocean view cabin or balcony cabin, expect to pay more. It is much cheaper to cruise in September or October. The time period you are asking about is the most expensive other than perhaps a Christmas holiday sailing.
