What is average electric bill for small 2 bedroom apartment in Fort Myers, FL,?

It does have an wall unit for air conditioning...does a wall unit cause you electric bill to be high? If I had central air would my electric bill be lower? I am not using my hot water heater (stays unplugged) ...I sleep with no A/C at night to conserve. Only thing I use is floor fans........I am bewildered. Can you please advise........the bill is sooo high I think I am going to have to move. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

You sound like you've got financial woes like everyone else ...

Why don't you call your power company and discuss about the A/C ... BUT; I was told that the window units are actually less to run than the larger Central units ....

Have you ever thought of finding a roommate and share a place ? Would be able to take warm showers , and probably have central air ....
