What is average golf score?

par was 72, i score91. I'm guessing i'm below average. but what is average score?

par is anywhere from 70 - 72 depending on the course.  BUT, look at it like this: the average golfer WON'T break 100.  Only 10% of the golfers in the world break 100, and that includes tour pros.  If you can break 100 you're way ahead of the game!

Most golfers are bogey or worse golfers, so a 91 on 72 (19) is average.  

That also depends on how hard the course is.  91 on the easiest course in the area is not the same as a 91 on the hardest course.

par may equel average, but it is very difficult to shoot par ( 72 ).  I would have to say that if you shoot in the 90's  you are an average golfer.  I shot a 92 the other day, and I thought i had an excellent round.  mind you the next week, at the same course, I shot a 121.  ouch.
