what is average weight for a freshman running back that is 5'8 or 5'9 and 14 years old?

and can you also tell me a good 40 yard dash time that i can aim for? thanks!

  1. Those are both hard questions to answer because I wouldn't know how far along in your growth and developement you are.  If you are still small and a bit slow it might be OK because you are young and undeveloped. You might look at your relatives and compare yourself to their sizes. If you think you are close to as big as your going to get, hopelfully you weigh at least 170 and can run a 4.65' 40.  My guess is you are not full grown yet and you may get taller and heavier than 170.  The 40 is overrated.  Quickness in short bursts and off the snap are what will be noticed.


  2. i'll say about 130-150 range.   for the forty time i'll say about a 4.5 -4.7  your time should improve through as you train to get bigger and better throughout high school

    you know the saying.  You can't coach speed lol.
