What is bar, barometer and barometric pressure?

the bar is a unit of measure; a barometer is a device used to measure ambient air pressure,  barometric pressure is the measurement of the distance,, that the ambient air pressure, raises or lowers a column of mercury in a thin glass tube

Barometric pressure is nothing but the atmospheric pressure(air pressure) over a place.Barometer is the instrument which measures this barometric pressure.

The unit of atmospheric pressure is millibar.This is equal to 1/!000 of a bar.A pressure of 10^6 dynes/cm² is called a bar.
