What is being done to preserve hummingbirds?

  1. We don't have to do a thing........Just hum a few bars.

    There's a ton of them here in New Mexico.

    I'm about ready to start selling them on ebay.

    $10.00 each........If they arrive dead, $5.00


  2. I really dont think anything lots of them r getting killed from plains and other flying objects

  3. There's an organization that's called the hummingbird Monitoring network...hummingbirds are protected under the migratory bird act and if or when they become endangered then they go under the endangered species act

  4. Well here in the US, hummingbirds along with all native birds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.  In countries where there are endangered species (none are endangered in the US) they are protected by law as well.  Here in the US we have the Endangered Species Act.  Other countries have similar laws.
