What is bellas power?

After reading Breaking Dawn, i still could not understand what Bella Cullen's vampire power is. Could it be how she was able to shield at the end of the book, so that Edward (i <3 you) can see into her mind for once? thanks.

She&#039;s a shield, when she became a vampire they discovered that her power was so incredibility powerful that it first manifested itself in her human form.

When she became a vampire everything was heightened 10x making it so that her ability to shield her mind from some other vampire&#039;s special abilities even better; in the book she trains during the month before the vulturi came and found that she could manipulate a barrier to protect other people from the same things her mind was immune to.

At the end of the book she also realizes that she could forcefully remove the barrier around her own mind and thus Edward was able to read her thoughts.
