What is best Plasma or or LCD ?

While the plasma /lcd debate wages on I'll answer your question and end the madness. The Panasonic thx 42" plasma or a Pioneer (or Pioneer Elite if you have the funds) (1080p) will be the best tvs you can get period.

Every review you read or person in the know will tell you these tvs will give you a consistantly better lokking picture over the other mess thats out there. They produce the best color, contrast, black on the market. Plasma and lcd last about the same amount of time, 10-14 years depending on usage. Plasma get a little warmer than lcds because the ENTIRE SCREEN is producing the light not just a BULB like with lcd.

The only tvs that will compare to the picture quality the afforementioned tvs will give you is the Samsung 750 series and the Sharp aquos. All the rest is honestly bad looking.

lcd better quality, slightly more expensive but worth it. plasmas don't last as long, also more probs with plasma
