1. Although The Try in the Barbarians vs. All Blacks game is usualy cited as the best rugby try ever, I think a better one is France's try against England in Twickenham. A French player gathered the ball behind his own try line and despite playing away from home, he decided to attack. The movement sees some great lines of running, quick passing and finally a try underneath the posts.

  2. Gareth Edwards, Barbarians v New Zealand back in tthe 70's I think. Known as 'The Try" it was handled by about 12 guys and started deep in Wales 25.

  3. Gareth Edwards for the Baa-Baas against the All Blacks at the old Cardiff Arms Park in the early seventies.

I was at the match and I was standing about ten feet away from Gareth when he scored.

  4. I'm sure the last pass was forward.

  5. Gareth Edwards !!

    THE TRY !!!

Or any other Welsh try against England!!!

  6. All the best tries are here - all scored by Wales
