  2. Most definitely Brighton, I live here and I've lived in London too.  Brighton, as London has much to offer for all tastes, but also has natural air conditioning by the sea and a much more relaxed pace of life.

  3. London is a hellhole and Brighton is getting worse.

It was nice 20 years ago but all the London trendies moved there as did all the London scumbag junkies and winos, now it is just awful, a cosmopolitan toilet. Avoid both places.

  4. depends on what you want?

brighton- is definitely a bright, vibrant place- i'ver heard, london is prospering, but very busy

  5. Brighton!, mainly because I live here!. Also because there is soo much to do. Beach, restaurants, big parks, theatres, clubs and pubs, street entertainers, fashion, shops, museums - well London on sea they call it don't they?! I love it here and it is a fantastic place for children to grow up.

oh Jenkin 19, please don't be all bitter and twisted!. I am sure everywhere was much more of a blast in 1960's, but please - let the younger generation have their day!. Don't forget you were young once too!

  6. the best thing to come out of london  is the road to brighton      london is a great place to come from but a sh-- place to go to

  7. brighton has a beach, something london cannot ever achieve

  8. Cybercom is a terrible answer.  I was born in Brighton and lived there until I was 8, then the family upped and moved sticks to Hurstpierpoint, and then to Burgess Hill ...  I remember Brighton with great affection.  I lived in London when I was  17-20 ecause it was the 60s and it was exciting.  But I still love Brighton.  My Mum lived there, so did my gran and her sister, and they used to take me round to all the churches, the architecture, the pubs, the shops, the racecourse, everywhere they knew ...  I know Brighton much, much better than Graham Greene ever knew it.  Now it is horrible.  It is so gentrified.  And if it isn't gentrified it is occupied by horrible shops like Infinity Foods which is now just a slightly classy supermarket ...  And as for the people, they are lazy, dirty. pseudo types who think they look interesting, but underneath they are intensely tiresome, lazy and boring.

  9. i live in brighton and personally cannot see why anyone would want to come here lol...although saying that on many visits to london i dont think that is much cop either infact even worse than brighton....so i would say brighton

  10. Brighton maybe nice but shopping in London even nicer :)
