What is better, an American MD degree or a English MB BS degree?

Hello, I live in the UK and I am applying to medical schools at the end of this year. I really like the ethics behind St. Georges University of Grenada and think it is definately the one for me, but the degree given is the American MD (Doctor of Medicine) opposed to the British MB (Bachelor of Medicine). Is there a difference? And will hospitals in the UK except the American degree?
