  1. In this situation, I agree with the others.  There's nothing wrong with having a smaller table if that means that you can stroke comfortably.  If this is the size of table that the rooms allows, then that's what you should get.  As long as everything about the table is regulation, you're in good shape.  Maybe someday, you'll be able to have a room that would accommodate a larger table, but you really don't want to be cramped.  Even if you play with a short cue, that will affect the way that you stroke.  It's better than not having a table at all.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.


  2. Go with the one that fits. It's not fun if you're constantly having to use a short stick.

  3. 7ft pool table for sure, theres nothing worse than hitting the cue against the wall :(

  4. 7 ft with room.  If the space is too small for the 8 ft you'll forever be unhappy with the 8 ft.

  5. isn't it obvious, the 7ft w/ space, or get the 8ft and knock down a wall or two..
